Quality should be controlled from the source
We have an extremely strict set of supplier selection and management standards. Firstly, our procurement department develops alternative suppliers and submits applications. Then, the deputy general manager of production organizes the procurement department, research and development department, process department, and quality inspection department to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and inspection of the suppliers internally.
We first need to confirm whether the supplier has a stable and effective quality system to ensure product quality, and then confirm whether their equipment and process capabilities meet the requirements of the purchased product. Finally, our four departments will conduct a summary study and obtain an inspection report. Only qualified suppliers are eligible to provide samples to ZERONE Group. Only after the quality inspection department inspects 100% of the samples, can the corresponding suppliers be included in our supply chain list.
In regard to our supply chain list, we have established comprehensive supplier management standards. And during the cooperation process, the quality inspection department timely issues monthly quality reports to summarize and analyze the quality abnormalities of the supplier for the current month. At the same time, the procurement, research and development, quality inspection, and process departments rate the suppliers, and suppliers with scores below 95 are suspended from cooperation; The same assessment procedure will also be used for on-site evaluation at the year-end supplier conference, but the difference is that there will be an additional supplier oath section in the year-end evaluation.
In addition to implementing these hard standard management, we also have a "quality traceability system" in place. We have marked our company's material code and supplier material code on all parts of the corrugator line. Any defects found during any inspection process will be entered into the quality traceability system for tracking and investigating the corresponding supplier's responsibility. With this linked responsibility system, we force suppliers to self-inspect consciously, and work together with us to minimize product quality issues.
